Cleveland has long since cemented itself as a growing culinary hotspot in the United States. Home to a gritty and authentic band of Emerging Chefs, we are proud to call Cleveland home, and to play our part in showcasing Cleveland’s growing and influential culinary scene. In fact, it’s where we got the name for our company, Emerging Chefs.
For our first mission, we have created and produced over 30 pop-up dinner parties, public celebrations and private foodie events — in less than 24-months. It’s been our dream to create provocative culinary performances with the best emerging and established chefs in the region. And we captured everything on film, from the plating to the spectacular transformation of venues as unique as the chefs themselves. We think you’ll agree the results are pretty spectacular. Now we are on the road to directing our first documentary film, Rustbelt Rebels: The Steel Fired Story of Emerging Chef Michael Nowak. Proud proprietor of Cleveland’s Black Pig (www.theblackpigcleveland.com) in Ohio City, Chef Nowak specializes in French inspired cuisine, featuring locally sourced ingredients and an innovative menu.
