EC.5 ~ ‘ThEATrical’™ starring Executive Chef Adam Bostwick of Melange

“You need three things in the theater – the play, the actors and the audience – and each most give something,” once quipped great British thespian, Kenneth Haigh.
All three will come alive as Emerging Chef’s presents ‘food theater’ with guest star Chef Adam Bostwick of Melange. We’ll air some of our most endearing film clips of our time, which will share the stage with our honorable Chef’s interpretations and inspiration for a very special multi-course meal.
Join us, as we transform the beautiful E. 14th Street Theater, in the historic Hanna Building, into a one-night-only command performance – complete with Chef creations that speak to your senses and concession stand ‘re-takes’ that spark your imagination.
When: March 24th (Thursday) – 6pm to 9pm

Dress: Raid your Aunt’s wardrobe or showcase your own star persona from the nearest costume shop (if you dare). It is your time to dress like a Hollywood A-lister, starlet or leading man.

EC.4 ~ ‘Sacr-licious’™ featuring Executive Chef Jeff Fisher of Touch Supper Club

Cooking by its own right is a ritual. Like an ancient religion, it attracts a congregation of faithful foodies and a fanatical following.
Join us for an evening of praiseworthy interpretations from Executive Chef Jeff Fisher of Touch Supper Club, as he serves up a sermon for all the senses. Check out the sacred vibe at Touch during our after party, beginning at 10pm.
From an alter of gourmet creations, witness the transformation of a former Romanian Orthodox sanctuary into a holy mix of fine food, art and culture – in Cleveland’s emerging Gordon Square Arts District.

EC.3 ~ ‘Aphrodisiacs’™ to Awe with Matthew Mytro

The naughty goddess Aphrodite will serve as muse and inspiration when Emerging Chefs celebrate with a wickedly delightful take on “Aphrodisiacs” by the celebrated chef - Matthew Mytro.
Chef Mytro will talk you through his inspiration for each dish, and Velvet Tango Room’s proprietor Paulius will be making a special guest appearance. And to keep the secrets of aphrodisiacs to ourselves – Emerging Chefs have secured the private lounge that can only be accessed with a “secret password” (sent to all guests the day off the event).
Dress: Gents - Be stylish and mysterious, but sorry no hats allowed. (House Rules.) Ladies - This is a perfect evening for a slinky black dress and that new set of garters. But please no big hair (Again, House Rules)!

Toast the 77th Anniversary of Prohibition’s Repeal!
It was a night the excitement spilled into the streets from Euclid Avenue to Short Vincent to West 25th.
Join Emerging Chefs for classic adventures in a ‘New Deal’ venue. It’ll be one show to remember, including a unique twist on the Era’s top tunes, libations, dancing, and more. Enjoy the dynamic cuisine of Chef Nowak and Depression Era cocktails in the Speakeasy at Cleveland’s Bier Markt. It’ll be like our own little piece of the “Boardwalk Empire.”

Did we confound you by not putting in a location for one of the coolest dinner events ever in Cleveland? That’s because there is no address.
Instead we have decided to take over a whole street. Emerging Chefs will be blocking off East Sixth Street from Superior Avenue to Short Vincent Street. Dim and Den Sum will be parked in the street and we will have some cool furniture strewn along East Sixth so that everyone can sit comfortably and enjoy Chef Hodgson’s great fare.
